Panama establishes new national carbon market framework, paves way for international credit transfers
Panama has established a national carbon market framework introducing carbon credit registries, a future domestic emissions offsetting mechanism, and provisions for international carbon credit transfers under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement and CORSIA, according to a decree published last week.
