Abatify is operated by West England Company Pte Ltd. By using our services you agree to these terms.

1. Nature of Service

Abatify provides voluntary environmental benefit certificates linked to high-integrity carbon and climate projects. Certificates represent a voluntary contribution toward climate impact and are not financial investments, securities, or tradable instruments. They do not confer ownership, equity, or any right to future financial return. By purchasing, you acknowledge that you are supporting environmental outcomes only.

2. Nature of Carbon Credits and Certificates

Each Abatify certificate represents a contribution toward the permanent retirement of verified carbon credits, procured and retired by Abatify on an aggregate basis on your behalf. When you purchase an Abatify certificate, you are not purchasing, owning, or acquiring any carbon credits directly. Carbon credits are procured and retired by West England Company Pte Ltd in Abatify's name. You have no legal claim to, ownership of, or rights over any underlying carbon credits. Retirement is irreversible and recorded on the relevant carbon registry. Once retirement details are available, they will be reflected in your certificate and our registry.

Abatify acts solely as a service provider, procuring and retiring carbon credits on an aggregate basis on your behalf. Your name, personal details, or certificate information will not appear on any public carbon registry. Retirements are recorded in favour of Abatify or West England Company Pte Ltd on public registries. Your Abatify certificate is your personal record of this contribution and does not constitute a registry document.

3. User Age

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to purchase climate certificates on Abatify.

4. Misinformation Disclosure

Our environmental claims are based on independent carbon registries (Verra/Gold Standard) and our overset methodology as described on our website.

5. Batching & Retirement

Purchases are pooled and retired on public registries (including Verra and Gold Standard) periodically at Abatify's discretion. Abatify does not guarantee a specific retirement date. Your certificate is issued after payment confirmation; the underlying credits are retired in a future retirement batch. Retirement dates and registry transaction IDs are reflected in your certificate and in our registry once processing is complete.

You agree to the Batch Retirement protocol: your purchase is committed to a future retirement batch and cannot be un-batched once retirement is initiated.

6. No Refund Policy

Due to the irreversible nature of carbon credit retirement, all purchases are final once a certificate has been issued. We are unable to offer refunds after the certificate issuance process has begun. If you experience a technical issue with your purchase, please contact us at hello@abatify.com and we will investigate promptly.

7. Environmental Outcomes

Abatify sources carbon credits from verified projects that meet recognised standards. However, we make no guarantee of specific environmental outcomes beyond the retirement of the stated volume of carbon credits. Carbon offsetting is one tool among many for addressing climate change and should be considered alongside direct emissions reduction efforts.

8. General

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Abatify and West England Company Pte Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for your certificate.

10. Tax and Incentives

Abatify certificates are voluntary environmental contributions. We make no representation that your purchase qualifies for any tax deduction, tax credit, carbon allowance, regulatory compliance credit, or other financial or regulatory benefit in any jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for determining the tax treatment of your purchase. We recommend consulting a qualified tax adviser.

11. Prices and Currency

All prices are displayed and charged in USD. Abatify is not responsible for any currency conversion fees charged by your bank or payment provider. Prices are inclusive of any applicable processing fees unless otherwise stated.
